Tecnogomma was founded in Adrara San Martino (BG), Northern Italy in the 1970s with the intention of offering gaskets and O-rings to the European market. In 1983 the company was acquired by Pietro Bonardi wwho renamed it Tecnogomma International SpA and managed it over the years with the support of his three daughters. Having understood the strong potential of peroxide compounds, the company introduces new machinery and technologies which in 2007 led it to register its own Trademark TIMO® (Tecnogomma International Mescole Omologate) for the production of seals made in approved compounds in the drinking water and food sectors.
In 1991 a commercial branch called Gomatec and a production site called Fujicaucho were opened in Spain.
Finally, Tecnogomma International Due Srl in 1995 – company specialized in the production of customized items in silicone and coloured compounds such as VMQ and FKM – and Deagom Srl in 2012 – aimed at manufacturing articles in liquid silicone (LSR), geometrically complex tech parts and over-moulding (rubber to metal & rubber to plastic) – became part of Tecnogomma International Group.
The entire production process (from moulding itself to all different finishing, selection and control activities) is developed internally in its factories, so that a continuous monitoring of each production step by means of the best technologies used to produce rubber items with high quality standard and reliability is guaranteed.
The company mission is aimed at producing rubber items, not solely meeting the most severe international regulations in the various sectors of use in an increasingly demanding and global market situation but also to anticipate and exceed them. All this is possible only by pursuing continuous research and development of materials, equipment and processes used for the production of its articles. The Management believes that the most important tool to achieve and maintain these objectives is to adopt and improve an Integrated Management System (Quality, Environment, Safety) in accordance with the Standards: ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016, ISO 14001:2015, Legislative Decree 81/08, ISO 13485:2016 (Medical devices).
The versatility of the Group has allowed to supply more than 600 end-user customers for over 50 years, 80% of which at an international level and to boast over 20,000 ongoing rubber items mainly intended for the drinking water & HVAC, Gas, Automotive, Food, Medical, Household appliances sectors and other application areas such as alternative energies and construction industry as well.
