Since its foundation in 1975, TECNOGOMMA INTERNATIONAL has been able to distinguish itself among the producer of seals, because of her versatility and geniality in the research and development of new kinds of production and finishing methods of O-Rings.
In the seventies the production of O-Rings was limited, because the technology was still not too developed and because of the precarious studies on rubber compounds. Nevertheless, Tecnogomma with its resourcefulness (initiative), was one of the first companies to introduce injection moulding and to perfection the finishing process of O-Rings by introducing and improving the first tumblers and the separation of these from the materials, which are used in the rectification process, keeping in mind, that the quality would make the difference in the industrial production of articles in rubber.
I feel free to say, that in a small way our company has contributed in the perfectioning of the knowledge of the rubber world and we are proud of this.
First of all, it was a work carried out by people, who gave everything to grow all the time. Indirectly they contributed to the growth and the technological development of the production of O-Rings. A job, which was made by numerous attempts and considerable investments to be able to reply to a market, which was always more interested in rubber and its technical applications.
In 1978 we inaugurated the first building, which was able to contain enough machines to permit the industrialization of our production. However we did not stop here. In 1983 Tecnogomma had its first rebirth : it married new ideas, united with new technologies, new studies and new politics, which still differentiate her on the market: integrity, transparency, loyalty and determination have permitted the company to overcome very difficult times, always referring to its staff members as the best resource to make progress. This has always helped Tecnogomma, giving her the courage, never to stop, investing in the research of materials and the development of them. Not at least, the goal of the industrialization of peroxide cured compounds, which are always difficult to convert into finished products.
Here too, with the efforts and capacity of its collaborators, Tecnogomma has been able to earn an important place in the market for drinking water applications. Presently our company is not only known for the research of innovative materials, for the quality and the massive investment in European approvals, but also for its range of compounds.
Continuously being more aware of the importance of personalized products, we have approached the world of technical parts according to customer drawings, making them become more and more present in our reality. Actually we produce all types of technical parts. These can be according to specifications or reference norms. The articles according to drawing represent about 50 % of our production and this % is growing up continuously.
The aggressiveness which Tecnogomma uses to present itself to the market is always humble and open to the news, which it often presents. The tenacity in the research of the satisfaction of its customers, is found in all the departments of the company, starting from the technical office, which is always in step with the present and, with the aid of new technologies, always searches for new production processes, which are able to maintain the prices competitive; the production with the constant monitoring of the production cycles by careful and experienced operators, who are able to resolve daily problems and who aid the technicians in finding better solutions to obtain products with quality; the commercial and administrative offices, which always find with their services a meeting point between the requirements of the market and the needs of the company ; and last but not least the quality department, which is careful to gather all the data necessary to improve continuously the quality level of the products of the company.
Thanks to this Team, in a resolute (determined) manner we have been able to enter into the world of the special O-Ring and the article according to drawing, and in a particular manner in the automotive sector. We are continuing to specialize ourselves to increase our presence in the field of the technical part, because the market continuously requires companies which are specialized in this sector. According to my point of view Tecnogomma is a company in continual movement which pays careful attention to the requirements of the customer ; I believe that it’s characteristic is the staff and they have repaid and daily repay this company with new ideas and new proposals.
