We have recently completed the development of a new nitrile compound (named TEC N 41-70) which can be used both for the production of O-Rings and technical parts, and is suitable for the gas and cold drinking water field. As a matter of fact, we have obtained the DVGW EN 549:1994 class B1 H3( use with gas at a temperature from 0 to +80°C). We wish to point out that for the gas field TECNOGOMMA INTERNATIONAL can supply seals in the compound TEC N41-70 CE marked as construction products; this because the initial tests for the seals of GBL type ( use for fluid hydrocarbon and fuel gas at temperatures from -15 to +50°C ) carried out according to EN 682:2001 by a notified organization had positive results. Concerning the cold drinking water field, this compound is EN 681-1 WA and WC (cold drinking and undrinkable water) approved, and has all the main international certifications as well. To be more precise, WRAS for Great Britain, KTW for Germany, NSF for the U.S.A., CLP for France and conformity with the D.M. 06/06/04 n°174 for Italy.
