Certificazioni Gruppo Tecnogomma

To answer to the demands of the clients with a sure and reliable product is one of our prerogatives. The production of Or-Ring and of particular second sketch, as well as of all you stamp him for their realization, you/he/she is entirely performed near our establishments so that to guarantee a continuous vigilance on the final quality.

The whole productive trial and the departments are managed and motivated by the system of quality; the whole group is certified according to the norm An ENs ISO 9001:2008. Besides Tecnogomma International S.p.to. it is certified ISO TS 16949:2009 for the sector auto and according to the norm An ENs ISO 1400:2004 for the normative environmental.

the system of quality is approved DVGW for the production of articles from destined to fittings to gas and it is guarded by DVGW for applications in fittings for drinkable water.

EN 549

This is the European norm that specifies the physical and mechanical requirements of the rubber material used for the production of o-rings and membranes in gas applications and gas equipments.
Compounds can be classified in relation with the time of temperature’s usage ( A B C D E ), that could change from a minimum of 0 o C –20o C (1 or 2) at a maximum of 150o C, and at a hardness ( H1, H2, H3).
The tests carried out by the laboratories in charge, are the following:

1 Hardness
2 Tensile strength and elongation.
3 Compression set( high and low temperatures)
4 Air aging resistance
5 Gas resistance (n Pentano)
6 Resistance to lubricating ( oil ASTM 2)

The ozone resistance tests is optional.
Moreover that norm subdivides in the two tables with different requirements according to the compounds, which are used to produce items as O- rings or kind of membranes, for which the admitted parameters are the more restricted.
For this kind of approval, we consult the German Institute DVGW, that allot us an own laboratory to which we have to refer, to carry out of the tests. This certification has a five-year deadline.

EN 682
This is an European norm, that specifies the requirements of the elastomeric materials used in pipelines and connectors for transport of the gas and fluid hydrocarbons.
Compounds can be classified according to the kind of application ( GA: combustible gas; GB fluid hydrocarbons and combustible gas; H aromatic fluid hydrocarbons and combustible gases containing condensates) and at a exercise temperature, that could change from - 5 to 50o C( GA, GB, H) or from - 15 to 50o C ( GAL, GBL).
The tests that are carried out by the indicated laboratories are the following:

1 Hardness
2 Tensile strength and elongation.
3 Compression set ( high and low temperatures)
4 Air aging resistance
5 Stress relaxation Tests
6 Volume Change in FUEL B
7 Volume Change in IRM 903 oil
8 Ozone resistance

Concerning this kind of approval we consult the Spanish laboratory LGAI Technological Center S.A., as notified according to the 89/106/CEE Directive, that enable us to mark CE our products.

DVGW – VP406
This is a work sheet issued by DVGW in addition to the EN 549 or EN 682 approvals for gas application in Germany market.

The work-sheet is subdivided in two parts:

-The first one, which has already been obligatory in addition to EN 549 and EN 682 approvals, requires an identification test of the elastomeric material (through the IR technique).
-The second one is still optional by now, and requires the following tests:
1 Ozone resistance
2 Stress relaxation Tests
3 Compression set at condition of 3000 h at 70o C, with the surveillance of the compression set each 1000 h. This test has the clearly intention to value the material behaviour in a quite significant time set. The maximum admitted compression set value has not been fixed.

Obviously, whenever the compound has already been EN 682 approved, it will be done just the test of the compression set, because the other tests are already part of the same norm.

Concerning this kind of approval, we consult the German Institute DVGW, which gives us a laboratory, where we have to execute the tests.
That approval has a five years deadline
