FVMQ

thanks to the fluorine contents, fluorosilicone assumes the same characteristics of silicone with the addition of an optimum compatibility with fuels. In comparison to silicone it has an inferior resistance to high temperatures. This compound is principally used in the automotive sector.

Certified Productive DWGW Process

This is a work sheet issued by DVGW in addition to the EN 549 or EN 682 approvals for gas application in Germany market.

The work-sheet is subdivided in two parts:
The first one, which has already been obligatory in addition to EN 549 and EN 682 approvals, requires an identification test of the elastomeric material (through the IR technique).

The second one is still optional by now, and requires the following tests: Ozone resistance, Stress relaxation Tests, Compression set at condition of 3000 h at 70o C, with the surveillance of the compression set each 1000 h.

This test has the clearly intention to value the material behaviour in a quite significant time set. The maximum admitted compression set value has not been fixed.
