According to DIN 3869, rubber seals are used for static type applications and the sealing ability is given by squeezing the seal.
These items are used mainly in the hydraulic sector in contact with mineral oils and in the presence of high pressures; for these two reasons seals made of black NBR 85 and green FKM 80 are used.
The sizes of these items range from a minimum diameter ø A of 8.4 mm. to a maximum diameter ø B of 50.7 mm.
