In integration to its own Policy for the supplemented Management System (Quality, Environment, Security), Tecnogomma International, intends to consider the social dimension of the enterprise, underlining the value of the own human patrimony in the light of the institutional, economic, political and social contest, where it operates.
The Managing Director, recognizing the importance of that which is indicated above, commits itself, in order that the staff, the management, the suppliers, the external collaborators, respect the principals of the Social Responsibility established by the SA8000:2008 Norm to which this code inspires itself.
Thus Tecnogomma International commits itself to operate in respect of the current applicable national normative; it further commits itself to keep in due consideration the contents of the conventions and international recommendations, including the resolutions of the Organisms like ILO (International Labour Organization) and ONU (United Nations Organization). In this manner it intends to create a working environment characterized by RESPONSIBLENESS, of RECIPROCAL TRUST and RECIPROCAL RESPECT, as well as the VALORIZATION of the personality and the diversity of the individuals, where each person feels responsible of the performance and reputation of the company.
Thus it is important that the relation between colleagues and the different hierarchical levels occurs with LOYALTY AND CORRECTNESS in reciprocal respect of the rights and liberty of the persons; EVERYBODY must collaborate to maintain a climate of reciprocal respect of the dignity, honour and reputation of each individual: this principal is to be understood as extended to the interpersonal relations between the operative branches and the various departments.
Tecnogomma International DISAPPROVES behaviours which are not in accordance with the principal of RESPECT OF THE PERSON, by whoever brings them about, towards whoever these are directed, independently of the reasons;
The Responsibles must reply promptly and professionally and every DOUBT or PROBLEM which may be raised by their collaborators and they are furthermore invited to ask for assistance whenever it be necessary; they must demonstrate an EXEMPLARY BEHAVIOUR which can be of example to their collaborators.
Tecnogomma International in harmony with the requirements of the SA8000:2008 Norm
SAYS NO :

  •  Juvenile and compulsory labour;
  •  To un fair disciplinary procedures, to the physical or mental coercion or insults in respect of the person.

DOES NOT DISTINGUISH:

  • The labourer by ethic group, caste, nationality, religion, disability, age, sex, sexual trend, trade-union or political activity.

PROPOSES TO GUARANTEE:

  •  Equal opportunity to all the employees in the development of their career, leaving the employment, retirement, respecting the fundamental principal of equality;
  •  The right to adhere or form trade unions or to participate in trade union activities;
  •  Protection against all forms of discrimination;
  •  Protection of the health and security in the workplace, the retribution, the security, access to training , the minimum age to start working , protection of the motherhood;
  •  A working environment which is healthy and safe, promoting the realization of actions which are destined to implement adequate preventative measures to reduce the risk of incidents and accidents caused by working activities, minimizing the causes of the risks connected to the working environment as much as possible;
  •  The respect of the working hours and everything else which is foreseen in the collective contract of the sector;
  •  Endowment of at least the minimum wage foreseen by the law and the payment of overtime;
  •  The availability and consultation with all the employees to face critical themes.

The Management is certain that the attainment of these objectives is only possible if all the interested parties share their sense and necessity. Therefore the present Code of Ethical Conduct is communicated not only to the staff of Tecnogomma International , but also to the staff of the other companies of the group, as well as its suppliers; furthermore it is also available for the Customers and the public through it’s publication on our website : www.tecnogomma.com
